The Calvary Quartet strives to combine soul-stirring music with the highest musical standards. We have two basic goals in our ministry:

Through our traveling ministry we desire to provide quality music for local churches, Christian schools, and evangelistic campaigns. Our mission is to prepare hearts for the preaching of God's Word.
Through quality music recordings we strive to provide music that ministers to hearts and encourages believers in their personal walk with Christ.

Our History

The Calvary Quartet began singing together in 1994 to provide special music at our home church, Calvary Baptist in Simpsonville, SC. In 2000 we began to receive requests from other churches to sing for special church events. We have been able to provide special music for church events such as church anniversaries and homecomings as well as special evangelistic services. In 2006 we had the opportunity to travel 31 weekends and minister through music in over 60 different churches.

Up to this point, our traveling ministry is supported solely on a church-by-church basis. Our ministry relies on each church we minister in to assist in covering our traveling expenses since we have no additional means of support. In 2001 we formed a non-profit organization, Calvary Music Ministries, Inc. to provide financial and logistical support for The Calvary Quartet. Our hope is that in the future we will be able to acquire regular financial support so that our ministry can be expanded. We want to be available to minister wherever the opportunity arises without being limited by financial constraints.

Our Group

The Calvary Quartet is headed up by Terry Snow. He and his wife, Lynn, manage the daily operations of the ministry. Terry organized the original quartet group in 1994. Although our group members may change from time-to-time, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards for our ministry. All of the members of the group, including Terry, work full-time jobs during the week. Each member has a sincere desire to minister through music and we want to use our talents to minister in local churches. We gladly spend our weekends traveling so that we may be used of the Lord to minister to believers.

Since we spend our weekends "on the road" we regularly travel with our families. We are committed to keeping our families together while we travel and minister in local churches. Each of us has a desire to see lives impacted for Christ and believers encouraged through our music.
